AI modes let you do more than just transcribe. Speak a trigger phrase at the start of your dictation and Speech Recognition Cloud will use AI to write, rewrite, answer questions, draft replies, or launch applications.
AI modes are available on Professional and Medical plans. All modes can be individually enabled or disabled in Settings. Medical plan uses restricted AI modes for privacy.

Say "Write..." followed by your instructions. Speech Recognition Cloud generates polished text and types it directly at your cursor.

You say: "Write an email to Sarah about rescheduling our meeting to next Tuesday"
Output: A professionally written email ready to send.
Example with clipboard
You copy some meeting notes, then say: "Write a summary email based on my clipboard"
Output: A formatted email summarising the meeting notes.
To include clipboard or selected text as context, mention "clipboard" or "selection" in your prompt.
Select text in any application, then say "Rewrite..." followed by your instructions. SRC rewrites the selected text according to your guidance.

You select: "the meeting is at 3pm tomorrow"
You say: "Rewrite this more formally"
Output: "The meeting has been scheduled for 3:00 PM tomorrow."

Say "Answer..." followed by any question. SRC provides an AI-generated answer.

Copy a message you want to reply to, then say "Reply..." followed by your response instructions. SRC generates a professional reply typed at your cursor. Your clipboard is automatically included.

Say "Open..." followed by what you want to launch. SRC opens applications, websites, or performs searches.

The Medical plan includes restricted AI modes designed for clinical privacy. AI processing is limited to approved transformations only, and data handling follows stricter controls. This is intended for environments where data governance is a requirement. If you have specific compliance questions, contact us.
